Got beef? Yes we do! It’s official, we will be serving local beef in all four schools next year thanks to the Local Food for Schools Grant!

We are excited to partner with George Luebbering of Luebbering Shorthorn Farms. George is a local cattle producer who has spent years raising high-quality Shorthorn cattle right here in Missouri. His commitment to responsible animal care and producing quality beef makes him an incredible partner in helping us bring the very best to our students.

We are so grateful for the Local Food for Schools Grant, which allows us to partner with local farmers and put the best, most nutritious ingredients directly on our students’ trays. This program not only strengthens our local food system but also ensures our students are enjoying fresh, high-quality foods while supporting the hardworking farmers who make it all possible.
