Out checking some calves and cows on this beautiful evening. We moved them over to the second half of the 40 acres. Every couple of weeks, we rotate them back and forth to give the grass time to recover and keep fresh pasture in front of them.

Rotational grazing helps maintain healthy pastures, makes better use of the forage, and keeps the cattle happy.

🚨 Memorial Day Weekend Sale Update 🚨

First off — WOW. Yesterday completely exceeded our expectations! We sold over 150 pounds of hamburger in just one day. We truly appreciate all the support from everyone who has stopped in and shopped local with us. 🇺🇸🥩

At the rate things are going, we honestly do not believe the hamburger sale will last through Monday, (due to selling out )so if you’re wanting to stock up, we highly recommend getting in sooner rather than later.

Today was a very special and humbling day for us here at M&H Cattle Co. and the Kokomo Meat Market.

Since moving into the market back in January, we’ve worked hard every single day to provide quality local beef to this community. But today meant so much more than selling beef. Today, because of the support from this community, we were finally able to give back in a bigger way.

This morning we donated 100 pounds of beef to the Kokomo Rescue Mission. ❤️🥩

As a local family farm right here in Howard County, being able to help feed members of our own community is something that truly means a lot to us. None of this would be possible without every single person that chooses to support local, shop with us, share our posts, and believe in what we’re building.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you, Kokomo.

This community has supported our families, and we’ll continue doing everything we can to give back whenever we’re able.
