Even though the City of La Mesa came to the aid of restaurants affected by COVID economic hardships and passed an Executive Order on January 28, 2021 to limit delivery and processing fees to 18%, Uber Eats continued to charge 30%. Further they tacked on more fees recently to bring the rate up to 37% now.
