The 2026 market season runs Apr. 4 - Nov. 28 (Sat) & Apr. 8 - Aug. 29 (Wed). La Plata Farmers Market has been in continuous operation since 1978. Saturdays: 1st Saturday of April - 4th Saturday of November; Wednesdays: April - August. Please note that the following rules are in effect at our Market:

- No pets or live animals in the Market (service animals are welcome)
- No smoking in the Market (

yes, that includes vaping)
- No open alcohol containers in the Market

Do you regularly mix up "watch" and "warning" when it comes to weather? Same! And here we are in peak tornado season (May - July) going "uh...which one is it again...?"

Let's try...WATCH the ingredients -- they might become the thing. WARNING -- the thing is here! That works for summer, too, right? Because we're definitely seeing signs of summer! Longer days, warmer temperatures, graduations, last days of school...

Come get a taste of summer out behind the Charles County Courthouse on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, 9AM - 2PM! Bring your family, friends, and coworkers -- they look like they need a mid-day change of scenery. And probably some kind of treat.
