🚜 Another piece of the puzzle is in place!

One more exciting improvement has been added to the new Grand Entrance & Visitor Area at the Rusk County Farmers Market—a paved walkway leading from the entrance directly to the Information Booth!

A huge THANK YOU to Kauffman & Sons for generously donating the paving for this portion of the project. Their donation and expertise has helped create a welcoming, accessible path for visitors to enjoy for years to come.

This project continues to come together because of the generosity of local businesses and volunteers who have invested their time, talents, and resources into making something special for our community.

There's still more to do, but it's exciting to watch the vision become a reality—one step at a time. 🌱

Thank you, Kauffman & Sons, for helping pave the way! 🤝🛣️

🐓 The new Grand Entrance & Visitor Area at the Rusk County Farmers Market is starting to take shape! 🐄

There's still plenty of work ahead, but it's exciting to see the vision coming together one step at a time.

One of the most meaningful parts of this project is the history being built into it. The bricks being used were carefully salvaged from the original Ladysmith Church of Christ, giving them new life as part of a welcoming space at the Farmers Market. It's a way of preserving a piece of our community's history while creating something new—an honor to our community.

This project is also a true community effort. It has been made possible through the generosity of individuals who have volunteered their time, equipment, materials, and expertise. Their dedication and countless hours of work are what have brought the project this far.

This project is being built through donations, reclaimed materials, and the generosity of volunteers who believe in making our community an even better place.

While there's still more to do, we're excited to share the progress along the way. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this project possible—we can't wait to show you the finished Grand Entrance & Visitor Area!

We are so grateful to Jump River Electric Cooperative, Inc. for their support. Thank you for being such a wonderful community partner!

💙 Small change. Big impact. Donation #2.

The second of four nonprofit organizations to receive a $500 check from Community Cents is The Rusk County Farmers Market. Market Manager Kathy Halbur is shown in this photo accepting the donation from JREC’s Executive Assistant Virginia Jacobs.

This grant will help further the market's mission of connecting growers, educators, and customers through a shared commitment to healthy eating and supporting the local community. No matter the season, the Rusk County Farmers Market offers something for everyone. If you haven't visited in a while, stop by and discover what's new.

If you want to take part in the Community Cents program, go to jrec.com/community-cents to learn how you can help these organizations better our community by donating, on average, less than $6 a year.

📸 A little Feast on the Farm photo sneak peek! 🌿💐

We've had quite a few people asking about photos from our evening at Windy Meadow Acres, and we're just as excited to see them as you are!

While we're still waiting to receive more photos, we didn't want to keep you waiting any longer. Here are a few candid moments from a wonderful evening spent with friends, beautiful flowers, delicious food, and plenty of smiles.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our second Feast on the Farm such a memorable event. We loved seeing everyone relax, visit, and enjoy the farm.

📷 As soon as we receive the rest of the photos, we'll share it here on our page!
