Please note that we 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 of next week due to the weather projected to begin this weekend.

While we don’t expect conditions to be as severe here in Louisiana, FedEx (our shipping partner) routes packages through Memphis, where weather-related delays are expected.

Our goal is to ship you the freshest, most delicious king cake possible, and we believe this is the best course of action to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

🚨🚨𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 𝗕𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗗 𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥‼

We were just informed that there are shipping delays due to weather in areas outside of Lafayette. Unfortunately, king cakes that were shipped on 2/18 (yesterday) have been delayed and there is a good chance that today's shipments could be impacted as well.

Because of this, we have decided to hold off shipping until Monday (2/24) to avoid any delays over the weekend. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As much as we would love to control the weather, we don't. 😫 We appreciate your understanding.

🚨🚨🚨 We just learned of an outage that took place last night with FedEx.

Due to this outage, it’s causing some issues with shipments. We are working tirelessly with FedEx to get those king cakes that were ordered delivered as quick as possible.

After having to suspend shipping for our blizzard last week. (𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚜𝚘 𝚠𝚎𝚒𝚛𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚊𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝) We are back to shipping our king cakes to those who are not local.

After looking at the projected weather for next week-we have decided to postpone shipping of our king cakes until Monday, January 27th.

Our goal is to always deliver you the best, most fresh king cake from one of our vendors. When there is extreme weather it can cause delays which are beyond our control. Those delays can affect the quality of the king cake. We do hope that you understand this decision.
