I'm sorry, I don't typically use the Followers tag because I hate it when other places use it but I wanted to make sure people saw this and maybe can get to the right person.

Today at the market (May 30th) someone came and talked to one of our workers about picking up popcorn next Saturday for a book club or something like that. They said that they would be at our booth between 7:30 and 8:00.

Unfortunately we don't have any record of anyone ordering popcorn from us for an event next weekend.

🍿⚜️🍿⚜️ Serious Post Incoming 🍿⚜️🍿⚜️

I'd like to take a break from our usual tomfoolery to say something kind of serious today. I know I can be a little wordy, so if you don't wan to take the time to read this manifesto from someone you don't really know, the TLDR is: THANK YOU!

On Saturday at the first Lafayette Farmer's Market of the season something amazing happened. We sold completely out of popcorn for the first time since we started doing this. The Marquess (That's Dusty the head popcorn popper for those of you in the know) popped well over 70lbs of popcorn and we were completely sold out by 11:20!!! We couldn't keep up!

We all know that times are tough right now. Money is tight for a lot of people. We also know that there are lot of other delicious snacks competing for your hard earned dollars at the Farmer's Market. It means so much to us that you've chosen us.

For those who came for popcorn and we didn't have what you wanted, we're sorry we were sold out! Best advice I can give you is this, Wake up earlier you fool! Come see us this Saturday for your fix!

🍿⚜️🍿⚜️ HEAR YE! HEAR YE! 🍿⚜️🍿⚜️

This is going to be a longish post...

With the rising prices and insane cost of gas, The Marquis would be remiss if he did not mention that:

OUR DELICIOUS TREATS WILL REMAIN THE SAME PRICE AS THE LAST 2 YEARS!

That's right folks! You may have to walk to the market because of gas prices, but at least you can get a bag of delicious popcorn or nuts for the same price as 2023! How insane is that?

Also to add to this, we've decided to reward our loyal customers with a new punch card. When you buy a bag of our delicious popcorn or nuts you can get a stamp on your loyalty card and once it's full you'll get yourself a delicious treat!

You'll be really impressed with the quality of our new punch cards. We spared no expense on them! They're super fancy.

Totally kidding, we got a big batch of mis-printed business cards and didn't know what to do with them so the Marquess and Marquis sat down with a sharpie and a few cocktails and drew a grid on the cards. It's super professional!

THIS SATURDAY, May 2nd IS THE FIRST Lafayette Farmer's Market of the year!

Those of you that have been jonesing for your popcorn or candied nut fix, the time is near!!

A side benefit is that you will again get to see The Marquis and Marquess! I know that a lot of you have been missing us! Nobody has told us this directly but it's a pretty reasonable assumption.
