With heavy hearts, we've decided to close our North Laguna Hills Farmers' Market, permanently.
Six months ago we set up our tents, excited to grow this local food community. From the first Sunday, we loved getting to know our neighbors, building our market crew, and seeing local produce on tables.
But from the beginning our vendor sales were low. We've struggled to retain farmers and to recruit replacements for those who leave. Unfortunately, we've reached the point where neither we nor they can afford to continue.
This is especially sad because so many of you, our weekly customers, have worked to help us build this market! You passed out fliers, brought friends to the market, and sent emails on our behalf. Kelly, our cheerful and kind market manager, worked hardest of all. We are extremely grateful for all she has done to build this market and build community within it.
We're sad to go! Thank you for being a part of our journey. Please support the other weekly farmers' markets in your area. With your support, they will thrive.
Wishing you happiness and good health,
The Farm Habit Crew
