We're just days away, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back to Ma's Place Farmers Market! Whether you're looking for homemade goodies, unique gifts, fresh treats, or just a fun afternoon with family and friends, we'd love to see you!

🎉 Help Us Celebrate Ma's Birthday!

This month's market is especially meaningful as we celebrate the life of Pauline "Ma" Peeler, whose birthday was August 4th.

Ma's Place is the home where she raised her family after moving there in 1961. After losing her husband in 1969, she continued raising her 12 children with strength, faith, and an open heart. Over the years, her home became a gathering place for family, friends, and neighbors, creating memories that continue today.

If you knew Ma, you probably remember her favorite saying...

"Ain't that right!" ❤️

Today, we're honored to continue her legacy by bringing our community together each month at the very place she called home.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Ma! 🎉

This year's Ma's Place Farmers Market on Sunday, August 16th is extra special because we're celebrating the life and legacy of the woman who inspired it all—Pauline Bussey Peeler, lovingly known as "Ma" or "Granny."

Ma was born on August 4, 1925, and we can't think of a better way to honor her than by filling her homeplace with family, friends, neighbors, laughter, and community.

🏡 A Little History of Ma's Place

The building you know today as Ma's Place is the very home where Ma lived beginning in 1961. It was here that she lovingly raised 12 children. After her husband, Mahlon Carl Peeler, passed away in 1969, Ma continued raising most of her children on her own with incredible strength, faith, and determination.

Over the years, this home became the gathering place for countless children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, and neighbors. It was filled with love, home-cooked meals, laughter, and memories that still live on today.

Many people in our community remember Ma for her warm heart, welcoming spirit, and her signature phrase...

"Ain't that right!" ❤️

Today, the house has been beautifully renovated so it can continue bringing people together—just as Ma always did.

We are open to all ideas: car show, food trucks, Handmade crafts & artisan gifts, Baked goods & specialty foods, Farm-fresh honey & jams etc.
