Dan from Gooding Produce has been a part of the Lake St. Louis Farmers & Artists Market for 14 years. One of his favorite things about the market is meeting new people, catching up with regular customers, and sharing a few laughs along the way.
Throughout the season, Gooding Produce offers a wide variety of homegrown produce, including broccoli, cabbage, onions, peas, green beans, beets, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, squash, okra, rhubarb, blackberries, and strawberries. Tomatoes are Dan’s favorite crop to grow, and he grows five different varieties each year. One of his favorites is the Pink Girl tomato, known for its lower acidity and delicious flavor.
In addition to fresh produce, Dan and his wife, Marg, bring a wonderful selection of homemade jams and jellies. Whenever possible, they use fruit grown on their own farm and also source locally from fellow farmers. Their booth also features handmade items such as tea towels and aprons. Be sure to stop by Gooding Produce this Saturday and see what fresh harvests, homemade treats, and handcrafted goods they have waiting for you! 🫜

🌟 Vendor Spotlight 🌟
Rachel from Balanced Home Apothecary has been part of the Lake St. Louis Farmers & Artists Market for 4 years. Balanced Home Apothecary is a woman-owned, small-batch wellness brand handcrafted locally with families in mind. Rachel creates ready-to-use essential oil blends, magnesium sprays, diffuser oils, and home products designed to support everyday life.
As a busy mom herself, Rachel loved the benefits of essential oils but found the process overwhelming. Many families were expected to join memberships, purchase multiple oils, and follow complicated DIY recipes just to create something useful. Wanting to make wellness easier for everyday life, she created Balanced Home Apothecary to offer grab-and-use products with no memberships, no mixing, and no overwhelm.
One of Rachel’s favorite parts of the market is connecting with customers and helping families discover practical wellness tools they can use right away. She loves answering questions, sharing education, and making plant-based wellness feel more accessible for the local community. Be sure to stop by Rachel's booth and explore her handcrafted wellness products designed to help create calmer, more balanced homes! 🌿

🌟 Vendor Spotlight 🌟
Jose and Maria from Pan Pa’ Ti Bakery have been part of the Lake St. Louis Farmers & Artists Market for 4 years. As a family-owned Venezuelan artisan bakery, they take pride in creating homemade bread from scratch using simple, high-quality ingredients with no additives or chemicals. For Jose and Maria, Pan Pa’ Ti began as a way to stay connected to home by recreating the authentic Venezuelan bread they grew up with, from the flavor and texture to the softness that brings back memories of family and tradition. What started as a personal connection to their culture has grown into an opportunity to share that experience with others through every product they bake.
Their favorite product is their cachitos, a signature item and customer favorite at the market. These soft, savory-filled pastries have become a must-try for many shoppers each Saturday. And for something sweeter, be sure to try their sweet filled bread or minibombas!
Beyond their bread, Jose and Maria love being involved in the community by supporting local markets and creating a welcoming space for customers. Be sure to stop by their booth this Saturday and experience the taste of authentic Venezuelan artisan bread for yourself! ❤️🇻🇪
