Today's the day!!! Go grab your fall copy of DIY Weddings Magazine! A big thank you to Candace of Beau Petit Cupcakes for inviting me to make a cake for this issue. Just when we were starting to think about the summer heat she asked for a wedding cake for a fall issue. When I think of fall, I think of dark, rich colors. I'm going to admit, I was scared to go too far away from the norm, so I decided on black and white. My inspiration? Wedding dresses!! I looked at about every black and white wedding dress that exists and mashed all my favorite parts together on this cake including beading, pleating, belts, and of course, ruffles!
