🐔 VC Acres Update — Real Farm Life Moments
Today’s video is a little different than what we hoped to share. Our broody mama has been doing her job faithfully, but unfortunately our baby chicks didn’t fare well this round. Sometimes farm life gives us sweet surprises… and sometimes it gives us hard lessons. We always try to be honest about both.

We’re making upgrades around VC Acres to give our birds the safest, healthiest setup possible — better nesting areas, improved ventilation however, on tough days, we keep moving forward and learn as we go.

🐛🦋 VC Acres Morning Update!
Farm life doesn’t wait on anybody. Our Black Swallowtail Butterfly finally emerged from its cocoon… and I missed the whole thing. I didn’t see it come out, I didn’t see it stretch its wings, and I didn’t even see it fly off. Just an empty cocoon sitting there like, “Well, I’m gone!” Even though I didn’t catch the moment, it still feels magical knowing it made its way into the world.

Over in the coop, our broody mama is officially at day 21, which means her chicks could hatch any time now. She’s settled in tight, doing her mama duties, and I’m keeping a close eye for the first little peeps.

And just so y’all know — I am not an actress, nor do I look like one. It’s early, my hair is messy, I’m aging like the rest of us, and this is just real, unfiltered farm‑life. But that’s what makes VC Acres special… it’s honest, it’s everyday magic, and I love sharing it with you.
