KJ from Kegel's Produce stopped by for a visit, and we asked him to hold one of our weekly fish! This Atlantic Stone Bass has a cool story. They are primarily commercially fished about 90 miles off the coast in the Charleston Bump. As a deep-water species, they are generally caught at depths of up to 200 feet. It is a beautiful, white, firm-textured fish that hasn't always been well-received under its alternative names: Wreckfish or Wrecker. The fishery is heavily regulated today, and we are incredibly lucky to get it about once a year.

Another historic name change in the seafood world was the famous Patagonian Toothfish—which is just as ugly as its name. But once it was rebranded as "Chilean Sea Bass," it became so popular it was nearly fished to extinction in just 15 years.

The 5th Annual Fresh is Best Scramble was about more than golf. It was about bringing our community together to support mental health.

With 120 golfers at Crossgates Golf Club, we proudly raised more than $6,100 for Mental Health America of Lancaster County to help expand mental health awareness and support local programs.
