The Central Market will be CLOSED tomorrow on Tuesday, January 27th.
 
At the time of this announcement there is still an active snow emergency in the city of Lancaster, and much of the area around Lancaster is still treacherous for our vendor’s large trucks and other traffic. Our standholders rely on the day before Market to bake, cook, prep, and transport cartloads of goods, and many of our businesses were simply unable to safely do so today. With all of this in mind, we have decided to close Market tomorrow. We have not closed Market in a long time, but feel it is in the interest of safety for our guests and vendors.
 
We’d like to thank the City for their prompt removal of the snow around Market, which is no easy task with our narrow alleyways.
 
Please be safe out there, and we will see you all at Market again on Friday, 1/30.

We’re gearing up for a busy holiday weekend and week ahead ! This is the time to get those quintessential holiday vegetables that keep well (think potatoes, onions, root vegetables, fruits), so you have less shopping to do next week. Dairy and bulk goods, too! Our holiday hours are:

Saturday 11/18 7-3
Tuesday 11/21 7-3
*Wednesday* 11/22 7-3 (open an extra day next week for all your last minute shopping!)

It’s apple season! For the first time in many years, we are able to offer apples from . This weekend we’ll have crimson crisp, honeycrisp & gala varieties available. Some have spots or other slight imperfections, as you would expect from organic fruit, but the flavor has been outstanding. Open 7-3 Friday & Saturday !
