Great article about paw paws! If you're curious, we have paw paw jam at our stands at both Lancaster Central Market and Green Dragon... grown from our own paw paw trees.

Across large swaths of North America, an ancient fruit is growing wild but largely forgotten. However, a community of foodies, farmers and scientists is eagerly trying to change that.

Reconnect with an old friend!
If you haven't been to Green Dragon in a few/several/many long years, then it may be time to come back. Even in the winter, it's a wonderful place to shop. Produce, meats, deli, baked goods, dairy, and yes - HORSERADISH... it's all here. While you're shopping, grab a cup of coffee, slow down to have a meal, and maybe follow it up with a dish of Lapps ice cream.
Green Dragon is open every Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Long's Horseradish is in building 1.
