Good evening, Reubens and Reuben-ettes!

When my wife passed away about two years ago, so many of you reached out with kindness and support. It meant more than you probably realized. DOV-A-LICIOUS, and all of you, helped me through a very difficult time, and I’m grateful.

I know this is my business page, but I’ve always felt like many of you are part of my extended family, so I’m asking for a little advice.

Dating in your 60s is definitely an adventure. Between dating sites, scammers and spam, it sometimes feels like a second full-time job. 😂

Here’s my current profile. Tell me what you think, especially what would make it more appealing:

I’m David, a hardworking, independent guy who owns a New York style deli in Lancaster. I love what I do, especially creating new foods, baking and feeding people, although I’ll admit my days sometimes involve more corned beef than any normal human should encounter.

I have a good sense of humor, enjoy great conversation and believe life is better when you have someone to laugh with. I appreciate people who are genuine, kind, affectionate and don’t take themselves too seriously.

When I’m not working, I enjoy relaxing at home, trying something new in the kitchen, going out for a good meal or simply spending time with someone who makes an ordinary evening feel a little less ordinary.

I’m not looking for perfection. I’d just like to meet someone I genuinely enjoy being around, see where the chemistry takes us, and have some fun along the way.
