Lancaster friends-Market will be closed tomorrow!
You can still place orders to be picked up when we reopen Friday 1/30.

The Central Market will be CLOSED tomorrow on Tuesday, January 27th.
 
At the time of this announcement there is still an active snow emergency in the city of Lancaster, and much of the area around Lancaster is still treacherous for our vendor’s large trucks and other traffic. Our standholders rely on the day before Market to bake, cook, prep, and transport cartloads of goods, and many of our businesses were simply unable to safely do so today. With all of this in mind, we have decided to close Market tomorrow. We have not closed Market in a long time, but feel it is in the interest of safety for our guests and vendors.
 
We’d like to thank the City for their prompt removal of the snow around Market, which is no easy task with our narrow alleyways.
 
Please be safe out there, and we will see you all at Market again on Friday, 1/30.

When sickness runs through the house, plans change quickly. As a very small business this means we’re unable to open today, so we can recover and prevent spreading the flu further.

Our hearts are heavy for the devastating losses suffered by our Central Market Family member in a house fire. Please consider donating to support our valued Market neighbor & friend during this incredibly difficult time.

We have some sad news to share about our wonderful standholder, Josh, owner of Lancaster Pet Bakery. His family lost everything, including their beloved cat, in a catastrophic house fire last night. We are grateful that everyone is safe, but our Market community is heartbroken by this news, and anxious to do everything we can to help.
