I would like to thank everyone for the support over the last five years! It was a huge learning curve but has taught me a lot about the produce world. That being said, it does not make sense at this point in my life to buy land, take down/ put back up my greenhouses and build a headhouse to wash/pack produce in; due to my lease not being renewed. So, now my greenhouses are up for sale. Please message me or email me for more details and to set up a time to look at them. They measure 30ft x 68ft x 14ft tall (double layer plastic with inflation fans and polycarbonate reinforced ends. Great for animals, growing produce, or whatever else you can think of!

Hello everyone,

I am so sorry to inform you that I will be closed at my current location for the rest of the season.

I was informed that I am no longer able to use the greenhouse facility/land, that I rent from Southwest Opportunity Center, under no fault of my own.

They have given me 60 days notice to clear out the greenhouse and head house as they plan to open their existing thrift store at my location rather than the building they currently rent.

I am deeply disappointed and devastated to see our business come to such an unexpected end, as I have worked hard to cultivate business and establish myself over the last five years.

Sungarden Greenhouse is something that I plan to return to as soon as I can find space and, essentially, start over, this however will take a great deal of time. Thank you for the welcoming environment and support you have given Sungarden, my wife and myself. I hope to work with you again in the future.

Again, I am very sorry for this terrible news.

The photo makes the row look short, but a 300 foot row of red onions were transplanted! Next will be the yellow onions. Around 1,800 red onions should be ready sometime in August! We are also giving potatoes a try this year.

These are seed potatoes that were cut and allowed to cure for a few days. It’s not mold!

We know you love baking. Be sure to grab some of these rhubarb starts this May. A 4” pot will be only $4! (Double the size by May). You’ll have to wait a few years to harvest, but the wait will be worth it! These plants will need around 3ft-4ft of space when growing.

Something new coming to the various farmers markets this spring/ early summer! Arugula is great to mix into salads. Arugula is also prepped underneath a lot of meats to add an additional flavor. Watch out though, it does have a “spicy” kick to itself!
