Carrots are one of my go to veggies for just about any meal! They're great in a stir fry or just sliced to use as a cracker, YUM!

Our produce pick up is this Wednesday and we would love for you to join the Lettuce Heads family! Each basket contains 10-13 different fruits and veggies and you can choose between a full and half basket. All produce is certified organic and fresh from the distributor. Hello Lettuce Heads! The kids and I learned something new today about survival in Florida, in case you're ever lost in the wild. Did you know you can eat the base of a palmetto plant, the bottom white part? And the Spanish moss hanging from trees?

They thought the palmetto plant tastes like sweet celery and the moss tastes like grass. Luckily, we don't offer any of those in our produce basket. 😂

Look at this awesome salad I made from our last produce delivery on Wednesday. I started with the baby greens, then added some of my favorites, shredded carrots, hard boiled eggs, red pepper and h**p seeds.
