Meet Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence, an organization creating meaningful one-to-one mentoring relationships that help young people recognize their potential and build brighter futures. Right now, more than 500 youth across Greater Philadelphia are waiting to be matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister.
Being a Big doesn’t require you to have all the answers—it’s about showing up, listening, encouraging, and being a consistent positive presence in a young person’s life. From grabbing a bite to exploring a museum or simply hanging out, everyday moments can have a lasting impact.
