Hope everyone is staying safe during this crazy time. Will update with any upcoming markets, but for now… we are just so thankful to the men and women of Nipsco who are out there trying to restore power to the area. Thankfully, we are getting by with a generator but hoping our home will be powered again before too long. Stay safe everyone! ♥️

Cakes were all made on 8/7 and are generally good for 1 week, possibly longer if refrigerated but I’ve not had one be uneaten longer than that. Haha.

My hubby and I took a weekend trip out of town. I fed my sourdough starter Aurora heavily before we left and misjudged her resiliency so did not refrigerate her. Unfortunately, she is no longer viable. We will have sourdough again but it will probably take a few weeks before I find a new starter I am confident with. Will post an update on this page when a new one enters the chat!

Today’s surprise flavor was PEACH! Were you one of the lucky ones to score this flavor? We sold all of our Bundts and nearly every sourdough item we had left. I scored some delicious artisan cheese and meat, as well as some fresh and delicious produce. Hubby says I sell baked goods to support my purchases at the market. He’s not totally wrong. 🤷‍♀️ Thank you all for a wonderful weekend at the markets!! Next week we will not be in Chesterton but should be at LaPorte if they select us. See you all then!

We are out of our lemon cakes this morning but might have a surprising new flavor at the LaPorte market today. 😄 Our sourdough loaves also sold out yesterday but we still have a few sourdough minis available (size of a muffin but definitely bread. lol) and can’t wait to see everyone out at LaPorte Farmed and Forged Market!
