Thank you to all our customers who were able to pick up this weekend despite the challenging circumstances of this past week. It is much appreciated ! Just to keep everyone updated, we just recieved the first set of bids for our second addition to our building. This project will double our hanging cooler capicity, and double our freezer square footage. In addition it will allow for future production growth. We wouldn’t need to keep expanding if it wasn’t for all of you.

Thank you to all the customers that made it out today to pick up their orders. We will be open tomorrow, Sunday, from 8:00 am to noon for both pickups and retail.

We are in desperate need of customers with freezer beef and hogs to pick up their orders. We realize that a lot of people don’t have power and we understand completely. There are also a lot of customers that were notified one to three weeks before the storm and now can’t pick up. We will not be able to process and slaughter next week if we don’t get orders out of the freezer. I will be available all day Sunday for pickups so if your power comes back on call us at 219-393-1000 or message me direct.

We have inspectors in our plant FIVE days a week. If you order a beef or hog from us for your freezer we can till you which family farm it came from right here locally. Compare that to buying off of a truck with meat from who knows where parked in a Rural King parking lot. No thank you.

I guess they didn’t like me asking Rural King about supporting local farmers and processors instead of a large national outfit. They blocked me from the page.
