IMPORTANT NEWS:

There are additional snap funds for the farmers market to distribute and customers to spend. In addition to the double up bucks, customers will receive additional BONUS bucks! AND – This is the last Saturday of winter market. In May we go to summer hours, which means we start at 8 am instead of 10 am. Happy, you early risers???

Gwen is coming to market and will have all beef cuts including brisket, Chuck and sirloin roasts, assorted steaks, short ribs, stew meat, marrow bones, beef liver, heart, ground beef, beef sticks.

Bruce, Lone Tree Ranch, will have pasture raised chicken eggs, flower seeds, lard and pickled eggs!

■Burrito: White meat Chicken w/Bacon/Eggs/Sharp Cheddar/Green Chile/Roasted Red pepper/Potato & Onion.
■Soup: Cream of roasted Asparagus & Green Chile/vegie stock.
■Quinoa Salad w/roasted vegies/Kalamata olives w/lemon honey vinaigrette served over mixed greens.
■Gluten free■
■Green Chile and sharp cheddar Corn muffins.
■Cherry chocolate chip pecan cookies.
■Hollowbone Dolls.

This week Sally will have: lettuce, asparagus, peas, rhubarb and eggs (chicken and quail).
From the greenhouse: pansies, petunias, zinnias, hanging baskets, calla lilies, dahlias, herbs, lobelia, peppers, cucumbers, okra, eggplant, tomatoes and more. Ask about a discount on balcony petunias!

LT Ranchers Baking Company will be at the Market this weekend with delicious treats including: Cakes, Cookies, Breads, Dubai Brownies and Strawberry Cups, Lemon Bars, Mexican wedding Cookies, some gluten Free Goodies, Quiche, and much more!

J Street Bread was stoked to be back at the market. Like coming home. So many folks to greet. So many enjoyable conversations. So many suggested remedies for my breathing problemo. And we even sold out of our morning Glory muffins and sweet potato loaf. And so we will be back for two in a row.

Jason will be there with plenty of microgreens, all the usual varieties as well as some fresh wheatgrass shots.

The Tri-County Farmers Market is comprised of vendors from San Miguel, Mora and Guadalupe Counties. We convene every Saturday, all year long, at the corner of 6th St. and University Ave. in Las Vegas, NM. Winter hours are 10-12ish. Summer hours (starting next week) are 8am-12ish. Many vendors accept SNAP/Double Up Bucks, and summer season we average 35 vendors a week, offering everything from meat, cheese, bread, sweets, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, microgreens, flowers, soaps, salves, plants, artisan crafts and more! beet greens, arugula, kale, Swiss chard, and an awesome salad mix, along

Arielle / Sow Good will have Sweet Potato Ginger Soup, Kenyan Red Bean and Coconut Soup, Kale Curry Tahini Salad, Keto Almond Bread, Banana Nut Muffins, Golden Cornbread, Seeded Crackers, Hit the Train Bites, Fudgy Brownies, Cinnamon Spice Nuts, Umami Nuts, Raspberry Coconut Chia Pudding Cups, and more! Laura will have many jams and jellies including the return of vanilla bean & pear jam as well as a hyper seasonal Lilac Jelly. Also, osha syrups, granola, Lemon curd, kimchi, pesto and a delicious healing Fire Cider.

After a long winter absence, J Street Bread will be baking tomorrow in a neighbor's oven with the hope and intention of bringing a batch of healthy, hearty and happy muffins to the Market. Two kinds: Morning Glory and Sweet Potato. Hoping to see you on Saturday.

Cliffside Gardens will have Radishes, cooking greens, Kale, Chard, Beet-greens, Spinach, frozen Kale, Rosemary, Onion Chives, dried Catnip, and Blue Oyster Mushrooms for Saturday.

Arielle and Sow Good will have Potato Leek Soup, Poblano Corn Chowder, Thai Peanut Salad, and a variety of items, mostly gluten free and all vegan: keto almond bread, golden cornbread, banana nut muffins, fudgy brownies, umami nuts, cinnamon spice nuts, hit the trail bites, chia pudding cups (great for eating while you browse the market), seeded crackers, and more. Stop by for samples!

The Sayre Place will be at the market on Saturday with an assortment of
fresh greens and our awesome salad mix. We will also have choke cherry
jelly, peach fruit spread and other jelly. We have some peach trees
also. Jack will be working on the annual cleaning of the acequia, but I
look forward to seeing everyone.

Gwen will be at market and will have ground beef, stew meat, short ribs, marrow bones, liver, kidney fat (for tallow), chuck roast, sirloin tip roast, brisket, skirt steak, sirloin steak, NY strip, ribeye, cherry chipotle beef sticks and green Chile beef sticks, assorted Tucumcari Mountain cheese.

Jason will be there with plenty of microgreens, farm fresh eggs and wheatgrass ginger shots.

April is National Food Month, and our challenge to you is: Try something new! 🍽️

Farmers markets are full of "hidden gems"—from oyster mushrooms and garlic scapes to unique fermented jars. This week, we’re challenging every shopper to pick up one ingredient they’ve never cooked with before. Our vendors love sharing recipes, so don’t be afraid to ask, "How do I eat this?" 😋
