Last call to get your name on some tasty bacon, pork chops, sausage and more. Our next round of pork will be ready in a year or more. Our family raises beef and pork as organically as possible near Laurel. Pick up is from the Otley Locker. It may be possible to meet at our home in Laurel as well.

1. Whole large pig, locker date Dec 5. Approximately $770, 135 lb take home meat.
2. Half large pig, locker date Dec 5. Approximately $335, 65 lb take home meat.
3. Whole medium size pig, locker date Dec 22. Approximately $575, 100 lbs take home meat.
4. Half medium size pig, locker date Dec 22. Approximately $290, 50 lb of take home meat.

As 2022 draws to a close, we would like to thank everyone that has reached out to support us in so many ways since our house fire. We are currently building an apartment in one end of an existing building on our farm. We still need to finish some electrical wiring and plumbing, hook up the furnace and water heater and do more insulating, paneling and flooring, but it is coming together with the help of volunteers along the way. We are so grateful for the prayers, labor, household supplies, clothing and monetary gifts many of you continue to share with us. As weather permits and resources are available, we plan to start building a new house where the old one was sometime in the spring of 2023. We want to thank all of you for your patience in receiving your orders as we juggle the milling activities around the construction projects. We are looking forward to seeing what the Lord has in store in the new year for everyone. 🙂

It has been awhile since we last sent out an update. We have appreciated all of you that have made our business successful. We want to let you all know that August 23 our house burned down. We lost everything except the clothes we had on and one of our cell phones. Thankfully no one was hurt and the fire was confined to the house. All of the other buildings and equipment are fine. We lost all of our records for our business, office supplies, etc. We are having calls to our home phone forwarded to our cell phone. Hopefully you will be able to reach us if you wànt to place an order. With a lot of other things to attend to at this time besides milling flour, our turn around time for orders may be a little slower. We appreciate your patience as we journey forward. We have been blessed by so many who have supported us in so many ways this far. The mercies of the Lord are new every morning. 🙂

We currently have plenty of fresh farm eggs from our chickens that are fed organic feed and enjoy foraging through the fields during the day. We will be in the DSM area tomorrow. It has been awhile since we have been in touch with everyone. We hope you are all enjoying spring as we are. Our chickens are real productive right now. They are enjoying free range on our organic farm and are fed our organic grains. Paul's Grains offers delicious and healthy grains, flour and cereals. We haven't used any chemicals on our farm since 1964 and have satisfied customers all over!

We have 7-Grain Cereal and Oatmeal for your hot cereals through the winter. We also have our grass-fed beef and free-range broilers available for purchase. All meat is fed hay and/or grains from our farm and are free of any antibiotics or hormones. Spring finally arrived and the animals are reminding us of the season with lambs arriving daily and the chickens increasing their egg production. If you are interested in farm-fresh eggs from free-range chickens, contact us. We will probably be in Marshalltown Saturday and in DSM sometime next week. We also have some grass-fed beef available.
