What a crazy couple of weeks! 9/18 brought 3 weddings outside in the storm that came through. Congratulations and Thank You to Hannah & Jonathan, Nichole & David, and Betsy & Kyle! What an awesome group of brides, grooms and parents to work with. Last weekend was Family weekend at KU so we were very busy & this weekend is the Haskell homecoming game as well as a grill-out for FSHS and two weddings! Loving it!!!

September will prove to be a busy month for us when it comes to weddings alone -- we have 5 on the books as of today! KU Football starts in September as well and we are always very busy on homegame days.

Looking forward to being able to serve yet another local school with a major catering event in a couple of weeks! Grilling out for 700 people on a Friday night!

We just came off a busy weekend with graduation parties and a 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner, continuing to stay busy throughout the next several weeks. We successfully placed a bid on a catering for a local school for 9 meals with 120 students at each sitting for the week of June 7th! In addition, we are gearing up for serveral grill-outs and weddings over the next few weeks. This is the season - we love it!

We are in the midst of graduation season with KU graduation this coming weekend and Free State and Lawrence High next weekend. Lots of BBQ, grill items, fried chicken, trays and of course, cakes being ordered last minute! We will have a very hectic few weeks ahead of us!

A big THANK YOU to our entire catering team for making this past weekend go off without a hitch! Needing to cater in 3 places at the same time and also getting cake and flowers to the weddings takes some very dedicated people, several vehicles and lots of organization. Great job to everyone involved -- let's get ready for the next one!

It is turkey time -- this week and next have been filled with turkey orders for all sorts of customers. We have fed real estate companies, churches, schools, hospitals, and many more so far. This morning we are taking 125 lbs of carved turkey to a church in town! From now on leading up to Turkey Day we will be busy -- serving up turkey packages to families for Thanksgiving.
