The purpose of the Historic Fort Ben Farmers Market is to provide a platform for local growers and vendors to sell healthy and creative products, a space for local artists to share their talents, and an opportunity for our community to experience all there is to offer. Join us every Thursday from 4pm until 7pm, June through the first week of October at the Fort Ben Cultural Campus. Not only will y

ou enjoy the fresh produce and entertainment from local vendors and artists, but you can also experience the first permanent installation of Musical Swings. The Historic Fort Ben Farmers Market is founded in the belief that the open marketplace provides the most beneficial means of exchange between vendors and consumers. It is a safe place for all people regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

Fort Ben Farmers Market Canceled Thursday, Sept. 3

Due to an extreme weather forecast with an expected heat index well over 100 degrees, this week’s Fort Ben Farmers Market on Thursday, Sept. 3, has been canceled.

The safety of our vendors, staff, and community members is our top priority, and the projected heat makes it unsafe to operate the market.

Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at the market next week.

Flood Cleanup Continues. Volunteers Needed 💙

Cleanup continues at the Indy Art Center following the recent flooding, and we could use some extra helping hands.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with power washing and lightweight debris cleanup in ArtsPark, along with miscellaneous cleanup in the basement of our Cultural Complex.

If you have some time to lend a hand, no sign-up is needed! Just stop by the Indy Art Center weekdays between 9 AM and 3 PM, or call Kelly Mosley at Guest Services at 317-255-2464 for more information.

We continue to be incredibly grateful for the care and support our community has shown us. Every helping hand makes a difference as we get our campus cleaned up and moving forward. 💙
