Our first month of Veggie Boxes is wrapping up, and we’re heading into the thick of the season! 🫛💛

While it’s fresh in your mind, tell us your thoughts about the spring boxes. This was our first year we went all in so we had fresh greens and veggies starting the first week in May.

Thank you for giving us grace along the way. We’ve had a few little “whoopsies,” but I can assure you we’re pouring our hearts and souls into every Veggie Box we pack. 💚

Next week, we’ll be breaking records as we deliver veggies to more Farm Families than ever before! We can’t wait to see everyone and show off our very first round of Brussels sprouts and green beans. 🤞🏻

Ya’ll are doing a great job bringing your tote bags, boxes and laundry baskets to the pickups! Teamwork makes the dream work! 🙌🏻

This fun summer PICKLE BOX will help you make 6–8 quarts of delicious homemade pickles that will stay fresh in your fridge for at least 6 weeks! Perfect for healthy snacking, family fun in the kitchen, and preserving the taste of summer without the hassle of canning.

Don’t delay… these won’t be available for a long time.

Each Pickle Box includes:

🥒 Fresh cucumber ‘pickles’

🌱 Dill sprigs

🧄 Fresh garlic

🧂Sea Salt

📖 Easy-to-follow recipe

You will need to provide:

• Glass quart jars with lids

• Sugar

• White vinegar

• Spring water (use instead of tap water if you’re on city water)

💵 Boxes are $25 each (Venmo or cash).

I’m sending home some pungent fresh garlic with you this week in your Veggie and Pickle Boxes!🧄

Freshly dug garlic is one of the true treats of early summer. Its flavor is stronger, juicier, and far more vibrant than store-bought garlic.

A few things to know about fresh garlic:
• The bulbs have not been cured yet, so they should be stored in the refrigerator .
• A little bit goes a long way.

Easy ideas for using it this week:
🧄 Garlic butter for bread or veggies
🧄 Homemade salsa or pasta sauce
🧄 Roasted with potatoes
🧄 Minced into salad dressings or marinades
🧄 Added to stir fries and soups

Minor Hill is a little slice of heaven, and we’re so happy to be able to share our Veggie Boxes with some of the sweetest people in middle Tennessee this season. 🌱💛

We’re heading into the most bountiful part of our growing season — think tomatoes 🍅, peppers 🫑, sweet corn 🌽, and soooo much more!

We currently have spots available for our every-other-Tuesday centralized pickup at Minor Hill Farm & Home Center from 4:00–5:30 PM.

Each box will include 8–10 varieties of clean, no-spray vegetables picked fresh from our farm.

🌿 6 weeks available/ 6 boxes
🌿 Starting June 9th through August 18th
🌿 $150 subscription (Venmo, Cash App or cash accepted).

It’s one of the most exciting times of year on the farm! 🌱☀️

🥒Cucumbers & pickles are being harvested! Starting next week you’ll be enjoying the sweet crunch of our cukes! And wait till you see our latest variety later in the season. 💚🤍💚🤍🥒Pickle boxes will start to be delivered next week.

🍅 Tomatoes are on the way!
Everyone’s favorite is growing beautifully with endless blooms and clusters of small-to-mid sized tomatoes all across the garden. We’re planning to offer:
🍅10 lb Tomato Boxes
🍅NEW! Tomato Sandwich Box with our first of the season Big Slicers paired with fresh homemade sourdough bread baked by two of our Farm Family members!
🍅Salsa Boxes - everything you need to make Pico de Gallo
🍅10lb #2 Tomato Boxes (imperfect tomatoes usually for canning purposes)
🍅Weekly Veggie Box tomatoes (many varieties) for as long as the plants
keep producing

🫑 Peppers are coming in strong!
Starting next month, we anticipate having several varieties in your boxes including sweet banana peppers, jalapeños, bell peppers of all colors, cayenne peppers, and maybe even a few surprises. 🌈

🌱Brussel Sprouts are coming back!
They were a big hit last year and they will be in your boxes soon!

🌽 AMAZING Corn! It’s growing quickly so we may see it before
July 4th this season.

🔆 Okra lovers… get ready!
This southern favorite should be ready in 4-6 weeks.

If you’re not part of our Farm Family but want to try a box, please reach out to me. June /July are our biggest boxes of the season and we have a handful of openings in Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Hohenwald, Minor Hill and Centerville starting at $25/week.

🍅Welcome to our Tomato Patch!🍅

We are SO excited about this year’s tomatoes! Not only are we bringing back our tried-and-true favorite slicers and sweet cherry varieties, but we’re also growing SIX brand new varieties this season. 🤩 We highly doubt you’ll see these anywhere else this year.

Right now there are a blue-million blooms 🌼 and tiny tomatoes growing everywhere you look. It won’t be long before Veggie Boxes are overflowing with beautiful, homegrown goodness.

Now the real question is… who’s ready for those Southern favorite tomato sandwiches?! 🍞🍅💛
