🧔♂️🥩 WE MISSED WORLD BEARD DAY…
Which is pretty embarrassing considering the number of beards walking around Stone Cold Meats. 😂
So in honor of our Bearded Butchers, here’s a little beard education.
Beards have been around a LONG time. Throughout history, they’ve been associated with everything from wisdom and strength to status and masculinity. At different points in history, people have even gone back and forth between celebrating big, glorious beards and shaving them completely off.
Thankfully, our butchers have chosen the glorious beard route. 😂
So how do you grow a butcher-worthy beard?
🧔 LET IT GROW.
The awkward stage is part of the process. Give it time before deciding it “won’t grow right.”
✂️ TRIM IT — DON’T BUTCHER IT.
Clean up the neckline, cheeks and wild hairs while letting the overall beard gain some length.
🧼 WASH IT.
A beard needs to be cleaned just like the hair on your head. Especially when you spend your day around meat, seasoning and smokers. 😂
💧 KEEP IT CONDITIONED.
Beard oil or balm can help keep the hair and skin underneath from getting dry and itchy.
🥩 EAT YOUR PROTEIN.
Hair is primarily made of a protein called keratin, so good overall nutrition—including adequate protein—supports normal hair growth.
😴 AND GIVE IT TIME.
Genetics play a BIG role in how thick, fast and full your beard grows. Sometimes the secret to a great beard is simply working with what you were given.
So we may be one day late, but we couldn’t let World Beard Day go by without recognizing the glorious facial hair behind the meat counter.
🧔♂️🥩 Happy Belated World Beard Day to the Bearded Butchers of Stone Cold Meats!
Now the important question…
