How to warm your holiday turkeys and meats.
******************
300 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes a pound.
Use a roasting pan with rack if you have it.
Pour approx 1/4 to 1/2 inch of either broth or juice in bottom of pan. (I like cranberry juice for turkey & apple juice for ham. )
Cover tightly with foil to seal well.
To glaze your turkey/meat, ( yes I glaze my turkey) remove foil and baste multiple times during the last 30 to 45 minutes. Remember your turkey/meat is fully cooked so all you're doing is steaming it warm.
DO NOT OVERBAKE IT AS YOU MAY DRY IT OUT!!
Use the broth for gravy or the juice may be reduced and served in a gravy boat alongside your turkey.

HAM GLAZE

1/2 cup orange or apple juice

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup honey

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Score ham exterior in a diamond pattern.
Add juice to bottom of roasting pan, add ham then seal tightly in foil.
Cook at 300 degrees for total of 10 min a lb.

Make glaze:
In a small pan, add butter, brown sugar, honey, dijon mustard and cinnamon. Cook on low until sugar well dissolved then set aside.
Watch closely to insure doesn't burn.
In the last 30 minutes, remove foil and brush ham with glaze, leave foil off and return to oven. Repeat every 10 to 15 minutes for remainder of cooking time.
Once ham is done, set it to rest. Pour juices from pan into remaining glaze and cook on low while ham rests. Pour glaze mixture in gravy boat and serve next to ham!
