We’re excited to see everyone at the Abingdon Farmers Market this Saturday! 🌾🤍

Here’s a little sneak peek at this weekend’s menu. We’ll have fresh sourdough breads, bagels, sweet treats, gluten-free options, and more.

If there’s something you’ve got your eye on, pre-ordering is always recommended to make sure you get what you’re looking for. Some of our favorites tend to sell out pretty quickly!

Good morning & Happy September from R&R! 🌾

We have a fun-filled week ahead with lots of your R&R favorites, along with a few newbies I’m really excited about!

And alright… I heard you! 😂🎃
Pumpkin Sourdough is BACK! 🎃🥖

I took a solid swing at the Oatmeal Crème Pies to marry the nostalgic texture and flavor with the magic of homemade and I’m pretty sure I have a winner but there’s only one way to find out! 😋🤎

I’ll be at the Abingdon Farmers Market Tuesday from 3–6 PM and the Lebanon Farmers Market Wednesday from 9 AM–12 PM.

Pre-orders are highly recommended if there’s something you really want to make sure you get your hands on. Our bagels, sourdough English muffins, crisps, and gluten-free items tend to disappear quickly, and I’d much rather have your favorites set aside than have you miss out!

Plus, every pre-order will receive a little special surprise from R&R. 🤎

The dough is mixing, the ovens will be working overtime, and The Brady Bunch is keeping me company while tomorrow’s goodies get underway. 🤎

There are a lot of things I love about Dolly, but what I love most is the way she has always used her gifts to bring a little more joy, kindness, and opportunity into the lives of others. 💗
Dolly’s daddy was a farmer of the land, Dolly was a farmer of songs and I’m a farmer of baked goods (and chickens)! 🩷
So this Saturday at the farmers market, I’m celebrating Dolly in a way that feels especially “us.” 💙🩷

Every sourdough loaf will be made with my Dolly starter — one of my very first starters and one that has a pretty special place in my heart. And because Dolly has always believed in the power of putting good things out into the world, I’ll be donating 10% of the day’s sourdough sales to Dolly’s Imagination Library, in honor of her love for children, books, and our communities. 📚💗

I’ll also have 20 little 2-oz cups of my Dolly starter to give away to Dolly fans who stop by so you can take a tiny piece of our love for Dolly home with you. 🥰

And PLEASE come dressed Dolly-style! Pink, rhinestones, big hair, Dolly shirts…whatever makes you feel a little more Dolly. 😂💗 We’ll have fun, take some pictures, and celebrate a woman who has given so much joy to so many.

As we move into 2nd fall, my mind is racing with ideas!

A Little Bakery Question 🤎

Lately I’ve been thinking about new items you would to see on the R&R🌾 Farmstead table.

I have an oatmeal cookie recipe that I absolutely LOVE. It’s thick, chewy, hearty, full of that delicious old-fashioned oatmeal flavor—and my oatmeal-cookie-loving customers have given it a pretty solid 10/10. 😍

But then there’s the other side of the equation…

For more than 30 years, I’ve loved those soft, sweet, nostalgic oatmeal cream pies from Little Debbie. There’s just something about that flavor and texture that takes you straight back to childhood. ❤️

So now I’m wondering…

Which oatmeal cream pie would YOU choose?

🥣 The homemade, old-fashioned version — big, hearty, chewy oatmeal cookies with a creamy filling.

OR

🤎 The nostalgic version — soft, tender, sweet, and made to bring back that classic oatmeal cream pie experience.

I’m working on a version that captures that nostalgic Little Debbie-style flavor & texture while still being made right here in our little bakery with high quality and respectable ingredients.

Before I prioritize a whole lot of time testing and tweaking… I would love to hear your thoughts!

🥔 Come make baked potatoes with me!

These crispy, seasoned baked potatoes are so simple — but that R&R Farmstead seasoning takes them to another level! 🤎

A little oil, plenty of seasoning, a trip to the oven… and you end up with crispy, flavorful potatoes with a fluffy center.

And yes… this is exactly how I make them at home! 😋

This is a busy week behind the scenes here at R&R, and we’re working hard to make sure we can continue serving our customers well while also keeping up with everything happening on the farm and in the bakery.

To stay dedicated to our community while giving ourselves the time we need to complete some important behind-the-scenes work, we’re offering limited pre-order pickup on Wednesday from 9–11 AM.

Tuesday will continue as our Abingdon Farmers Market + Pickup day from 3–6 PM, and Wednesday will be reserved specifically for pre-orders with limited availability for pickup at the Lebanon Farmers Market.

Pre-ordering helps us plan our bake intentionally, make sure you get the items you’re looking for, and allows us to balance a very full week without sacrificing the quality and care that goes into everything we make.

If you’ve been meaning to order, this is the week to reserve your favorites. Every pre-order will also receive a little special surprise from us.
