MARCH 14th - WE ARE OPEN with generator power. However, due to downed power lines, please arrive via Rt 356 & Melwood Rd. You will need to skirt around the road closure sign, but you will not be exposed to the downed wires. From Rt 56/Lower Burrell, please continue to 356 and from 356 turn right (at The Dairy Queen) onto Melwood Rd. Stay safe & we will see you soon.

Our FRESH TURKEY order line is OPEN! Call 724-845-7661 to reserve your Farm Fresh Turkey. Don't believe the rumors! We are NOT closed - but we have taken a fork in the road by partnering with Hidden Hollow Turkeys. Their turkeys are All-Natural, Antibiotic free and are raised in large open-air coops, then processed in their brand new facility right on the farm. All fresh turkeys will be delivered to our market for pick up Thanksgiving week. Stop in soon ~ our market smells delicious with the homemade aromas of Stuffing, Gravy, Pot Pies, Grandma's Cranberries & MORE.

Every 5 years or so the market needs a face lift - 2025's re-staining & painting are underway. So while we look a little forlorn at the moment with our shutters and signs removed, we are still OPEN and will be looking quite spiffy soon!

Here at Pounds' Turkey Farm we have made a bittersweet decision about our future. Our Farm Market remains fully open and stocked with our delicious products (Thurs & Fri 10-5, Sat 9-3). However, after 90 years of growing and processing our own farm fresh holiday turkeys, we have decided to relinquish that aspect of our business. This decision was difficult, but we will continue to offer delicious fresh turkeys from our friends at Hidden Hollow Turkey Farm. You all are the BEST customers anyone could ever hope for and we plan to continue serving you well.
