🐓 A little farm update from Deer Run Farms 🥚

Our chickens are currently going through their annual molt, so egg production has slowed down while the girls focus their energy on growing fresh new feathers. Because of this, we won’t have our usual large quantities of eggs available for a little bit — but we *will* still have some eggs available this weekend! 💚

We’re hoping production will be back to normal by the end of June as the molt wraps up. Thank you all for your patience and support during this seasonal slowdown!

We will also still have many of our normal farm products available this weekend — just no bread this time around while we take a little baking break to celebrate my Birthday 🎂 🐐🧼✨

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy every single day. 🇺🇸

Because of their sacrifice, we get to wake up to sunrises over the pasture, gather around family tables, work the land we love, and live this beautiful farm life we’re so grateful for.

Our farm is a blessing. Our freedom is a blessing. And we will never forget those who made it possible.

Our first Farm Stand Grand Opening Weekend was better than we could have imagined 💚

Seeing people stop by our little self-serve stand, support our farm, chat with us, and take home products we worked so hard to create truly means the world to us.

From fresh sourdough and eggs to bug spray, laundry soap, spice mixes, and goat products…thank you for supporting our dream 🌿🐐🍞

This old cabinet officially started its new life as the Deer Run Farms Farm Stand this weekend, and we couldn’t love it more 🥹

We will be restocking and opening the stand again NEXT SATURDAY & SUNDAY! 👏
