There are Aronia berries to pick!! No charge. I just would appreciate a share of the picked berries.

We had half of the bushes cut down this spring because they were getting too tall. 2/3 of them are coming back up.
Unfortunately the tall bushes didn’t produce much.
I would say no picking this year.

The rain in the last couple of days (3-4 inches) really helped fill out the berries! However it also lower the sugar content. Picking will resume August12th. Call 641-414-8286 $1 a pound for you pick

The Aronia bushes are blooming! I sure hope they have a summer that produces lots of berries

I am sorry but the Aronia berry crop was a failure this year.

I tested the berries today. They are 17 brix. That means they are ready to pick!!
Early warning: since it was so hot and dry several of the berries dried up. Also the ones that filled out are smaller than last year; however certainly worthy of use.
