This is the end, our swan song; goodbye to romance. We will see you on the dark side of the moon. It is with heavy hearts that we have to inform all of you, our loyal customers, long-time and new friends, that The Do Dah Deli will be closing at the end of the month, Thursday, February 29th. We have worked really hard, blood, sweat, and tears, for the past five years to carry on the legacy of the original Do Dah Deli, and I think Diane, the first owner, would be proud of all the hard work we put into this run! With us opening right before COVID, we didn't think we would even make it through the pandemic, and we thank you all for helping us live out this short but sweet dream. We truly appreciate all of your support. We are all very sad to close this chapter of our lives story yet hopeful about the ones yet to be written. Keep on truckin' βοΈβ₯οΈπ€
We would like to thank:
Vinnie, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for serving as the backbone and workhorse of our entire business, fulfilling every crucial role necessary. Your unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations. We are profoundly thankful for all that you have contributed to our success.
Lukas, for giving an expert class in customer service and making sure all of the technology was working. For a long time, he was the face that greeted you when you walked in the door and helped make it feel like home!
Will, without your extreme knowledge and skill, we would not have had anywhere near the quality of soups or specials. You were responsible for so many recipes, seasonings, and truly kept the people coming back!
Dora, you came in and, no questions asked, did what was asked and made sure we were always as organized as we could be, which was no easy task, plus all the creativity with desserts and your eye for crafting beautiful trays!
Ayden, a lot was asked of you with not a lot of notice. We are so proud of you for stepping in when needed to fill in and become the front end and for doing all the grunt work no one else wanted!
Carey, you came in and helped us at closing time, gave ideas for specials, and stepped up where needed. We are forever grateful!
Darrin, we appreciated your willingness to do whatever was asked, all your knowledge, friendship, and your good-natured and compassionate demeanor!
Maria and Nicole, thank you for setting this whole thing up for us to live out our dreams and being the inspiration and behind-the-scenes support so we could focus on running the day-to-day!
Mike and Kathy, thank you for being the best sales reps we have ever had. You guys have gone above and beyond for us without question!
Additionally, we would like to express our sincerest thanks to our customers over the years. Your loyalty, support, and patronage have been the lifeblood of our business, and we are deeply appreciative of the relationships we have formed with each and every one of you. Thank you for allowing us to serve you and be a part of your lives.
There are so many more people to thank and we appreciate all of you!
