I'm headed out to the Bliss Farmer's Market today with fresh local chicken. I have a couple whole birds, the rest are cut up and vacuum sealed. Also have plenty of salad mix and a few dozen eggs.

After two days in mail trucks from Pennsylvania, our first batch of 25 chicks arrived yesterday February 13. In 6 months or so I expect these pullets to start laying their dark brown eggs. Speaking of eggs, we have plenty of fresh Hammond Eggs on hand right now.
