Today we used our homemade plastic mulch layer to lay out plastic. We built it from some scrap equipment and a few other parts. It did a really good job. This plastic will greatly reduce weeding time this year and allow more precise watering and fertilization.

Many crops will be going in the ground soon (if not already) and first vegetable boxes will be going out early next month. Sign up if you haven't already.

Being a new, small-scale farmer, I realize forming lasting connections with my neighbors, community members, and customers is a fundamental part of my business. By doing weekly deliveries my goal is to make getting vegetables easier and more accessible for my customers while being community supported in a closer way. Whether you want a bag of leafy greens or a flavorful tomato, there will be a variety throughout the season that's available for you. And remember, all of my produce is pesticide and herbicide free!
