❤️🥫 JOIN US FOR THE FOUNDER’S DAY FOOD DRIVE! 🥫❤️
In West Virginia, over 200,000 people experience food insecurity each year; many of them in the same communities we serve every day.
Beginning June 1, we’re proud to participate in the Founder’s Day Food Drive alongside WVNS 59News and United Way
For the next two weeks, we’ll be collecting food donations at all three of our stores to help local families in need. We invite everyone to stop by, donate if you’re able, and help us make a difference in our communities.
Even one item can make a difference! If you’re shopping with us, consider picking up an extra item or two to donate while you’re here.
🥫 Most-needed donation items include:
• Canned vegetables and fruit
• Peanut butter
• Canned soups and chili
• Pasta and pasta sauce
• Mac & cheese
• Rice and boxed meals
• Cereal and oatmeal
• Other non-perishable food items
📺 59 News and United Way volunteers will be at our stores on the following dates:
🏪 Daniels IGA - Cornerstone IGA
• June 1st, 5th, 9th, 11th and 12th
🏪 Lewisburg IGA - Cornerstone IGA
• June 3rd, 8th, 10th and 12th
🏪 Mullens IGA - Cornerstone IGA Mullens
• June 4th, 9th, 11th and 12th
Donations will be accepted at all three stores throughout the entire food drive, even on days when 59 News is not on-site.
Together, we can help stock local food pantries and support our neighbors in need. Thank you for helping us give back to the communities we serve!
