The peonies are starting to pop! I’ve started a little collection of them these last few years and I’m so excited to see them starting to bud and bloom.
I’m finally back at tomorrow, 7:30-noon. Soap nets are back in stock and we will have a wide variety of our milk & cream soaps. Summer is finally here!😎 ☀️

We’re coming out of hibernation here on the farm and what a day to ring in the Spring Equinox. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the hiatus from social media. I definitely recommend it!
A little over a month and we’ll be back at farmers market.

Sentiments from last year’s Veterans Day, but still relevant today and everyday. 🇺🇸

It’s Veterans Day today. We all get to go about our business as usual because of active duty and veterans.
My Dad is a Vietnam vet. He was the first draft pick. Imagine that. Not exactly the number one draft pick one would want. He always said, when the draft came around, he wanted to be right in the beginning or at the end. He was drafted into the Army branch and became assistant to the gunner in his unit.
It goes without saying that I’m glad he made it back home safe and healthy, so we all could be here today.
While he was away at war, my grandmother wrote him everyday and grandpa wrote weekly. Last I knew, he still has those letters.
My husband served in the Air Force. He grew up poor and this was a way for him to leave that. He was able to travel and see parts of the world. It was also where he learned to be a firefighter. A job that turned into a lifelong career and retired from.
I have multiple cousins, grandfather, uncles and friends who have served, even some of our customers and I’m eternally grateful for the duty they felt called to serve.
Most of us as Americans will never truly know what that means, but I am ever so thankful for all of them.
