Beans are producing, so it's all hands on deck.. well one rides a "motorcycle " around for quality inspection purposes!
We HAND PICK all of our beans. Tonight was blue lake bush beans and a few roma II ( flat beans)
Our magic purple beans ( burgundy) may be slowing down too much to get anything off of them.

This week has been mud boots and rain coats. Whatever it takes to get the job done, we're here to do it. Some items may be a little light this week, as we can't pick some things while they're wet.

*Did you know if you pick your beans while the plants are wet it will make the beans rusty?

Anyway, we may have a small windows this afternoon that the plants will be dry so we can pick beans and tomatoes!

But in the meantime, here are a couple picks of some of the beautiful veggies picked and washed thos morning!!

I picked a regular tomato variety we grow and a small Oxheart heirloom variety. ( our favorite)
The meaty tomato on the right is that beautiful Oxheart! It's a perfect tomato for BLT night!! 🤤
