ss enjoyable for everybody, especially the customers. Maybe that's why personalized customer service is such an important part of our business today. The knowledge and skills Grandpa Amos passed on to us are virtually unattainable these days. And at the heart of it all, you could say we are just fun-loving chips off the old butcher block. Yep, we inherited a lot from Grandpa Amos, not to mention our receding hairlines. Then again, just imagine how much we've been able to save in haircuts over the years.

Delivery Driver – Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week

Critchfield Meats Wholesale – Lexington, KY
Pay: $17.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and CDL qualifications

Critchfield Meats Wholesale is looking for dependable, hardworking Delivery Drivers to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. We are a local foodservice distributor delivering quality products to restaurants, convenience stores, universities, and other businesses throughout the region.

Job Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck and completing an assigned delivery route. Responsibilities include:

Delivering food and other products to restaurants, convenience stores, universities, and other commercial customers
Loading, unloading, and safely handling customer orders
Using a dolly/hand truck to move products from the truck into customer locations
Regularly lifting and handling cases weighing approximately 40–80 pounds
Verifying deliveries and ensuring customers receive the correct products
Providing professional and courteous customer service
Safely operating company vehicles and following all DOT and company safety requirements
Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
Qualifications

Required:

Previous experience driving a 26-foot box truck
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Ability to safely lift and handle cases weighing 40–80 pounds
Ability to perform a physically demanding delivery position throughout the workday
Dependable attendance and ability to work independently
Professional attitude and good customer service skills

CDL is NOT required.

We also welcome applicants with a Class A or Class B CDL. CDL drivers and applicants with significant commercial driving experience may qualify for higher starting pay.

Schedule

This is a full-time, 4-day-per-week position. Drivers leave from our Lexington facility, complete their assigned route, and return home the same day. There are no overnight routes.

Overtime may be available or required depending on seasonal business needs.

Pay

$17.00–$23.00 per hour

Starting pay is based on driving experience, qualifications, and whether you hold a Class A or Class B CDL.
