Job Title: Head Butcher Manager
Location: Critchfield Meats Wholesale
Schedule: Monday β Friday, 6:00 AM β 3:00 PM
Position Overview:
Critchfield Meats Wholesale is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Butcher Manager to lead our meat processing and packing operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in butchering, equipment operation, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily meat cutting, processing, and packing operations.
Operate, monitor, and maintain equipment used in meat processing.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
Train, lead, and support staff to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
Inspect products for consistency, accuracy, and customer specifications.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
Collaborate with management to meet production goals and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a butcher, meat cutter, or in meat processing (management experience preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and stand for extended periods of time.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of meat products.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
