🎉 We’re Almost There — South End Market Is Opening Soon! 🍷🛒

Big news! South End Market has officially passed our ABC inspection and received our temporary license — the final approval we needed.

With construction complete, we’re now in the final preparation phase — filling the store, stocking shelves, and bringing everything together for opening day.

We’re currently locking in the last details and will be announcing our official grand opening date very soon. All signs point to an opening in March, and things are moving fast.

Thank you for all the support — we can’t wait to welcome you in. Stay tuned… we’re almost ready! 🔥

Hey everyone! We’re excited to share a big update from South End Market.

We’re happy to announce that we’ve officially passed all final inspections with the City, Fire Department, and Health Department. We’ve also received approval for our ABC license, the final step, which will be issued this Wednesday.

So what does that mean? It means we’re officially ready to begin ordering products and filling this beautiful space! While we don’t have an exact opening date just yet, we are planning to open sometime in March, and it’s coming very soon.

We truly appreciate your patience. A few last details needed to be addressed to pass inspections, but everything is now complete and we’re good to go. We can’t wait to open our doors and share all the hard work we’ve put into this store with you.

We’ve been working tirelessly on South End Market, and while everything has taken longer than expected (as these projects often do), I can proudly say the wait will be worth it. What started as a complete gut-and-rebuild is now transforming into something truly special for Uptown Lexington.

Not only will South End Market feature a grocery store, but also a bar serving beer and wine, a welcoming back patio, and—my personal favorite—a sandwich shop offering sandwiches, wraps, salads, sides, and more.

On the grocery side, our mission is to highlight and support our community by sourcing about 80% local products from right here in North Carolina. The remaining 20% will be thoughtfully curated imports from places like Spain and Italy, bringing a unique blend of local flavor and global quality under one roof.

We’re working hard to open as soon as possible, and we’re confident this will be a true game-changer for Uptown Lexington. Every product you’ll find here has been hand-picked for its quality, clean ingredients, and uniqueness.

We cannot wait to share South End Market with you soon!

🚪 Our back entrance sign is officially up! 🎉

We’re excited to share that we’ll soon have two separate entrances for you to choose from. Our back entrance opens onto a cozy patio—perfect for enjoying a cold beer or a glass of wine in the fresh air. 🍷🍺

There’s even more coming to the back area… but we’re keeping those details a surprise for now. 😉

This project has taken longer than we anticipated because we’ve completely gutted the space and rebuilt it from the ground up—but trust us, it will be well worth the wait. We’re getting so close we can hardly stand it, and we can’t wait for you to see everything we’ve been working on.
