Last night after another busy weekend on the farm, we were cleaning up chairs, packing away chalk, and doing the usual “one last thing” that somehow turns into 47 more things.
That’s when we looked down and saw this sweet little message written on the sidewalk: “We love it here.”

Honestly, we had probably all stepped over it multiple times already while hauling tables, chasing trash cans, and wondering who forgot to put something away this time.

We have no idea which child wrote it or when, but it stopped us in our tracks for a second.

Sometimes it’s easy to get buried in the work, the crowds, the WEEDS, the restocking, and the endless to-do list. But kids have a way of cutting straight through all of that and reminding you what they actually see: a place to run, explore, laugh, eat donuts, and make family memories on a real farm. Something we as a family often take for granted.

And somewhere between the chalk drawings and strawberry stains, that makes all the hard work worth it. We will be posting our next opportunity to make memories this afternoon. See you at the farm!

Join us this Mother’s Day Weekend for strawberry picking, live music Saturday from 11–2, flowers, hot donuts, slushies, sangria, snacks and a good excuse to get out of the house for awhile. 😅

Instead of fighting brunch crowds and waiting 45 minutes for eggs, come hang out with us instead. We’ve got:

🎵 Live music Saturday from 11–2
🍓 Strawberries to pick
💐 Pretty flowers Mom doesn’t have to water immediately
🍩 Fresh donuts, slushies, ice cream, iced tea, and all the good farm snacks
🍷 Sangria… because motherhood is a contact sport
