This simple grilled peach sandwich only takes a few minutes to prep & make, so it is perfect for an easy lunch (or dinner). Snag almost all of the ingredients from the Lexington Farmers Market Saturdays from 8am-12pm!

We’ll be serving up samples of homemade peach ice cream from P*e Dee Orchards and some peach butter this Saturday for Peach Palooza!

Thank you to everyone stopped by the market for World Honey Bee day! We had lots of fun sharing about the life stages of the bees and how they make honey. A special thank you to Jeff at BN ACRES for bringing the educational hive, bee suits and infectious energy to learn!

The NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers, Davidson County is hosting the Great Southeast Pollinator Census next Friday & Saturday to bring awareness to pollinator conservation, which includes bees, butterflies and more!

It’s World Honey Bee Day! Join us to learn about how honey is made, how to spot a queen in her hive and roles of the bees in the hive. BN ACRES will be showcasing everything using an educational hive (no live bees) at 9/10/11am!

You can also pick up honey from BN Acres, Abbott’s Creek Honey, and Sunflower Hill Farm, Lexington, NC.
