It’s about time to give up my rocking chair. Getting a little too cool to set on the deck and drink coffee on Saturday mornings. Time to get back to a functioning member of society. I will be at the Webb City farmers market on November 8 to offer honey If you need something healthy and sweet.

I got a call from the gentleman who took over from me. He is planning to set up tomorrow morning. Didn’t ask what he would have, but you may want to go check him out. You might get a pleasant surprise.

Yes, I’m done with veggies. We will concentrate on our bees and grow more fruit( a lot less labor intense). We found an individual who is taking over our spot. He has grown veggies and plants for several years, so he is knowledgeable and should be an asset to the community. He is planning to set up in the next week or two. I have offered to go with him a couple of times to get him acquainted if he wants, so you may still see me.

Getting ready for Saturday. We will have tomatoes, seedless watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches, onions, a few cucumbers, and okra. We will be doing tomatoes differently tomorrow. You will pick out your own.

Don’t miss this good stuff. The season will soon be over.

Pennsylvania peaches are here. Nice sized Loring (free stone) peaches. We will have these on the table Saturday. If you want more than a few to eat, we will offer them in half bushels for $35 or a full bushel for $65. Please let me know in advance if you want the half or full bushels.

I must be nuts to be loading watermelon in this heat! 🥵

Tomorrow we have a bunch of sweet, juicy watermelons. We even have some jumbos that weigh 25 lbs. we have a size for everybody. And some of the nicer cantaloupe of the season.

Tomato season is slowing. We will have some, unfortunately the quality is slipping. Ugly but taste good.

Will have bell peppers, cucumbers, onions, pears, and okra as well.

NO PEACHES TOMORROW. However, the Pennsylvania peaches are coming next week. These are always great. If you want to reserve half or full bushels, you need to talk to me before Saturday the 23rd.
