John and I have decided that the best Christmas Gift to each other this year would be the gift of being able to travel more, spend time with Family and Friends.

We love Flat Branch Farm. It has been John’s life for 23 years, mine for over 4 years. Because of the nature of farm life, so often we have had to miss events, holidays, special occasions with friends and family because of having large responsibilities for the caretaking of our sweet creatures.

The challenge was that we were very limited on how far and how long we could be away from the Farm. Finding reliable, competent folks to help with the care of the farm was never easy and sometimes, impossible.

The first week of January, Flat Branch Farm will be for Sale. This has been an extremely difficult choice for us. Especially for John. He built his memories, raised a family, loved and lost his wife here. Met and married me here…. his love for Flat Branch Farm is soul deep. My love for him and all that is Flat Branch Farm is soul deep. Writing this out, has me weeping and already missing this beautiful piece of Heaven.

Flat Branch Farm’s future will become a new family’s dream, and we (John and myself) will begin a new journey with each other in a new place. We have built a new home in South Carolina and are preparing to begin our newest adventure.

Good morning everyone!!

We are reaching out to share that Flat Branch Farm is not going to open the barn again. We made the decision to donate everything we had left to a local Charity in Lillington and a Community Church in North Fayetteville. We had so many clothes in perfect condition, bedding, quilts, dishes, etc. and useful furniture that we truly wanted to share those blessings with families that might be struggling. The Holiday season can be a time of struggle for some families and we wanted to lift some of that burden for them.

We have a few antique tools left -pitchforks, sickles, a hay tool, a beautiful Organ mirror (Charity & Church felt these items would probably not find a home through them). We still have the curio cabinet, and the large windows we were going to use for a new greenhouse. If you’re interested in any of the items listed, please private message us and we can figure out a pick up time. ♥️

Thank you!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Flat Branch Farm today and carried some treasures home with you!

It was so darn cold but so many of you braved the cold and came out to help us clean out our barn!

We did not have everything out today due to space, but after the fabulous turnout, we will be opening the barn again with some of the things left from today and lots of other finds that we weren’t able to get out.

This year, you’ll get more of our Honey Deliciousness in each bottle!

For years at Flat Branch Farm we bottled our honey in 12oz bottles and they were $10 per bottle.

The company that supplies us no longer makes the 12oz option, they only offer the 8oz or 16oz bottles and of course the cost of bottles has been increased.

This year we opted for the 16oz bottles (1 pound) and the price for a pound of Flat Branch Farm honey is $15 per bottle. We kept the price increase as minimal as possible but still fill the bottles with the same delicious honey you are accustomed to getting from us. 🐝🍯
