We are proud to share we are now selling our Pasture Raised chicken in Nugget Markets in placer county. We currently offer whole chicken and boneless skinless breasts.
What makes our chicken different?
Let’s break it down.
1. It’s healthier 💪🏼 on average Pastured Poultry has 95% more omega fatty acids, 52% less saturated fats, and 40% more vitamin e.
2. It’s better for the environment ☀️ and the chicken 🐓. Our chicken is raised outside 🏞 under the sun.☀️ They eat 🐛 bugs as a part of their diet and they are never ❌ caged!
3. We do our own in house processing which allows us to ensure we are producing a top quality product. We own and opperate a USDA facility and go above and beyond organic requirements.
4. Our chicken is air chilled. Air chilling allows us to produce a juicier product. In traditional processing, chicken is placed in a water bath that usually has bleach added to the water. The chicken can absorb up to 8% of its weight in that bleach water. Although it’s a much longer method the results are worth it!
5. Our chicken is free of Antibiotics❌ 💉, hormones ❌ and ❌ bulking agents. We use a top quality non-gmo, corn free ❌ 🌽, ❌ soy free 🌱 feed.
