Will finish picking tomorrow. Traveling to Lincoln on Monday (the 25th). Fruit stand will be open on Tuesday (the 26th). Bringing up Sweet Dream peaches (a very good eating/cobbler or pies), Suncrest peaches (very large, best canning peach), Donut peaches(sweetest white flesh variety), Red Gold Nectarines (true freestone nectarine with awesome flavor), Flavor-grenade Pluots (a cross between Plum and Apricot that is the most flavorful of all the Pluots), new crop Honeycrisp apples, Bartlett pears (great to eat or can), Red Bartlett pears (creamy sweet flavor) and a few boxes of Golden Delicious apples and Gravenstein apples (these two are the best pie apples on the market). Should have enough fruit to last through Labor Day and the following week. Looking forward to being back in Lincoln and seeing everyone.

We are back again. We had a smaller cherry harvest, but fruit size is great and taste is awesome. Check out the crew packing Rainier Cherries. We have both Bing and Rainier cherries, Robada apricots, Walla Walla Sweet Onions and something new. Spring Blaze peaches and Sauzee Swirl Donut peaches. Swirls are a super sweet, white flesh donut peach that is the earliest variety and are simply awesome. Come down to the Historical Society property, 728 Main St in Lincoln for something fun on this 4th of July. Check out the awesome fruit and the most vendors we have ever had. Fun for all the family.

Today is the last day. I have a few 2 lb. bags of peaches and Pluots left. Have some Gala and Golden apples too. Half-price today.

Best canning peaches of the season are ready. Ask for the Suncrest. New crop Gala and Honeycrisp apples. Green-stripe and Dark "Sugar Baby" watermelons ...$4. Pluots and Donut Peaches are in good supply.

Finished up at the orchard about 7 last night, showered and packed my stuff and left Zillah just after 9pm. Got in to Lincoln at 6:30 this morning. Going to get a couple hours of sleep, get set up this afternoon and begin cherry sales tomorrow.

A change in plans.... I was set to be in Lincoln with cherries on Wednesday, set up on Thursday and start sales on Friday. Going to push that forward one more day because "Orange Red" apricots are ready and I will pick those tomorrow to bring with me. I had some open area several years ago and planted 9 Orange Red apricot trees in the bottom below my cherries. ( In looking back, this is one of those "Hello McFly" thump, thump thump moments...lol ) Apricots are the first fruit to bloom and combine that with the lowest elevation in the orchard and you have a frost pocket problem. Due to freeze, I have not picked any Orange Red apricots for 2 years. They are one of the most flavorful apricots. Not a big supply from just 9 trees, but they are a treat. See you on Friday, June 28.

It is the End of the Season. The Cherry Guy will be closed on Tuesday, 9/19, to get ready for our last day $1 dollar sale. We will open on Wednesday, 9/20, at 9:00 am. All bags of fruit, beans and rice will be $1.00 per bag. All potatoes and onions will be $1.00 per lb. We mainly have pears and apples left. A few donut peaches are left. Come down, have fun, get a good deal and say good-bye for the season. Sale will start at 9:00 am. Sorry, but to be fair, no early sales. Thank you Lincoln for another wonderful year.
