Tomorrow is processing day for our non GMO pasture raised chickens. It’s our first batch of the year. I told a few customers last week at Market that I would have chicken available on Saturday, but I don’t believe these will frozen in time so we won’t have chicken available until next Wednesday at the Wednesday market I know we have been out for a couple months and some of you are patiently waiting I really appreciate your patience.

So starting tomorrow, May 24 2026 we will have the honor system set up for baskets. All baskets are $18 apiece. There is some for shade and full sun and in between if you have any questions, or if you see something that you would like multiple of please text or call me at 573-616-9304. We do cash check and I will have something set up with my Venmo on it on the table, there are some baskets on the rack and on the table I will replenish on Monday leave money in the dropbox thank you please share

We will not be at the Columbia farmers market tomorrow, May 16th 2026 sorry for any inconvenience. This may have caused. We will still be open to the public by appointment on Sunday, May 17 for anyone that wants to come by and grab some hanging baskets. Stop by the Columbia farmers market on Saturday 8 to 12 we will have hanging baskets pasture raised non GMO. Eggs along with strawberries we will be open to the public on Sunday by appointment I’m hoping to have everything set up by the beginning of next week for the honor system tables I know some of you like shopping like that and I’m sorry it’s taking so long to get it set up this year. We just have a lot of stuff going on if you would like to swing by on Sunday to pick up baskets we will have a pretty good selection to choose from. Hello everyone I got some bad news. We will not be at the Columbia farmers market tomorrow morning May.9 2026. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. If I could stay up on my feet a little better, we would be there. I took a tumble this afternoon and I am pretty sore Also, we will not be selling baskets on Sunday, May 10 on the farm we will open up to the public towards the end of next week, I’m sorry for any inconvenience. This may have caused. I know it’s Mother’s Day weekend, but we have a little bit of pest out break inside of the greenhouse and I want to get that under control before selling our product. Thank you for understanding Bill Strope and family.

We will have hanging baskets available starting Saturday May 9 at the Columbia Farmers Market and at the Farm on Sunday May 10. They are a bit smaller this year due to lack of roots when we received our plugs therefore they are going to be cheaper than previous years. We have worked really hard to get them to where they are now so we hope you still come by and check out what we have available!
We have an assortment of Petunias, Thumbergia, Geraniums, and Sunpatiens that will be available this weekend! If you are looking for the Begonias like we had last year they are going to be ready in a few more weeks. All 10” baskets will be $18 each. We also have a small assortment of decorative baskets available for $28 each.
On Sunday please call or text Bill at 573-616-9304 before you come so we can make sure to have someone available to help! We are not quite set up to have the plants out on the tables for the honor system but hopefully by next week! Thank you for your continued support we really appreciate it! Please share!

So today was a very busy day here on the farm. We started out by taking care of our morning chores like taking care of the egg layers opening greenhouses and stuff like that and then Mom and I proceeded to clean the waters and feeders up for inside two of our chicken tractors because today was moving day when Abby got here this morning we moved our first batch of chickens for 2026 out to pasture when we finished up, moving everybody to grass our second batch of chicks showed up via carrier, so Abby and Mom got everybody settled into the brooder with fresh feed and water. Everyone is doing great so far fingers crossed everything works out well for this batch. The first batch was a little rocky at first we lost more birds than I usually like to, but we had some heater issues and most of it was human error, but I think we got it figured out now

I also wanted to say thank you to our customers for being patient with us right now as we are completely out of stock of chicken products We will have everything stocked back up in about four weeks be sure to like and follow our page to see the progress that these chickens in the next few weeks. I really enjoy showing everyone what they are like out on Pasture chasing bugs eating grass it is very fun to watch.
