VOTE for the CHANGE you want to see πŸͺ™πŸͺ™πŸͺ™

Partners of the Month are chosen at the Littleton Co-op by YOU, the co-op's member-owners! Partners of the Month are local non-profit organizations selected to be the beneficiaries of our monthly checkout round-up donations and receive 100% of all donations and plenty of recognition from Co-op shoppers. There are twenty-five great local non-profit candidates looking to be a round-up recipient during the ten monthly slots we have available in 2027. These organizations organize locally on behalf of cultural and artistic conservation, education, animal rights, local recreation, health and family care, and more worthy causes.

Voting kicks off next Saturday, September 19th at the Partner of the Month Fair 🎈 All 25 organizations will be at the Littleton Co-op from 12-3PM to tell you why they deserve your vote. Can't make it or want to study up ahead of time? More information about each candidate is available on the Co-op website, linked right on the homepage. See you at the Fair!

What are we feeling tonight: plan A, B, C, or D? Let's face it, most of us yearn to be the type of people that can whip up plan A on any given day, but the weeknight reality is all about adjusting dinner plans. Whatever plan you're on, the Littleton Co-op has the ingredients you need for success! Remember that reality doesn't need to be a Pinterest-worthy meal every time. As long as the family's getting fuel for whatever comes next -- soccer practice, study sesh, or binge marathon -- you've done a job well done πŸ‘

With a new season approaching, it only makes sense to welcome new art into the Littleton Co-op Cafe Gallery space 🎨 For September and October we're honored to present the work of Diedre Blair, an oil painter who lives and paints right here in the White Mountains. What you'll soon come to recognize as Diedre's style is the color and whimsy infused in every work. If her name sounds familiar, she's also the owner of The 3 Sisters Gallery up in Gorham, NH, where she continues promoting local art and artists for the community. Come in and check out the art (also for sale!) next time you're shopping.

Want to enact positive changes in your community? Start with your Co-op!

The Littleton Co-op Board of Directors is preparing for their annual election by looking for enthusiastic Littleton Co-op members who want to help their cooperative thrive and grow. If you are a cooperator who loves coming to the Co-op, has ideas on how to make it better, and the commitment to see those ideas through, this might just be the involvement opportunity you've been looking for. Serving on the Board is fun and rewarding, but you also serve the important role of representing your fellow co-op members when making decisions affecting the long-term viability of the co-op.

For anyone inspired today to create change in our communities, applications are now open on the Co-op website (littletoncoop[.]com/join-board) for board candidacy. The simple, online application is due September 17th. We're looking forward to a fall filled with co-op spirit!

Happy September 🌻 The September Partner of the Month at the Littleton Food Co-op is Littleton Studio School! Perhaps you recognize their iconic exterior -- there's even more art inside! The Littleton Studio School educates community members in a variety of art media, providing not only the space and tools, but the guidance and encouragement to realize one's own artistic potential. A Littleton Studio School "student" is someone of any age and any ability who wants to get their hands dirty with clay, metal, jewelry making, mixed media, and more from a number of skilled instructors, some of whom are juried with the League of NH Craftsmen. All change you "round-up" in September will go directly to supporting this artistic pillar in Littleton πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ¨πŸŽ¨

Raise your hand if you feel overwhelmed by the thought of packing lunches 5 days a week for the foreseeable future πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ With the start of school approaching, we turned to our Deli Department to find out what they're making for lunch these days and what they recommend. Mike was more than happy to boast about his favorite creation, the Southwest Chicken Sandwich! Not only is it a qu**ky assembly in the morning, the base can be meal-prepped ahead of time, and all the ingredients-- including pre-made street-corn salad-- are available here at the Co-op! Or better yet, if you're not going back to school just yet, come in and let us make one for you! Not in to chicken? The Deli takes custom sandwich requests from 7-9AM (breakfast) and 11-2PM (lunch) πŸ₯ͺ Stop by and discover the possibilities!
